Although my interest in health and healing began as a child, this path didn’t come into clear view until college.  It was there that I met a dear friend who introduced me to Naturopathic medicine.  This was my first glimpse into a system of healing that was different from the allopathic model I experienced as a young person.  My interest in Naturopathic medicine led me to attend the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), where I later earned a degree in Chinese medicine.

After seven years within the field of Chinese medicine, I began my journey into the study of shamanic healing and Reiki.  These modalities helped me heal in greatly beneficial ways and added incredible tools to my healing practice.  Shamanic healing and Reiki were such a natural fit for me; so much so that when I studied them it felt like I was remembering something that I already knew.  They are now my primary offerings at Reiki Song.

Reiki and the loving spiritual allies often work in a way that is beyond what we think is possible.  They traverse space and time and can, as an example, do healing on a trauma that happened years ago.  They can help us see ourselves and our experiences in new ways.  They can work through the energy systems of the body, or they can work within the vast expanse of the soul.  The ways in which they heal are endless.  What drives the healing is the intention that is set before the session, and you will be supported in this process every step of the way.

It is an absolute gift that I get to sit beside you and be a bridge between you and this spiritual dimension of healing.   It is an honor to connect you to this immense support system.  May the magic of your life’s unfolding and the beauty of your unique expression on this earth come alive for you. 

Training:

2003 - 2008 - Studied at the National University of Natural Medicine.

2008 - Received my Masters Degree in Chinese medicine.  I am currently a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Oregon.

2010 - 2023 - Studied at Lightsong School of 21st Century Shamanism and Energy Medicine (Lightsong)

2016 - 2023 - Assistant teacher at Lightsong

2010 and 2016 - Received Reiki training at Reiki Lifestyle, becoming a Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Master  

2021 - Received Karuna Reiki training at Igniting Spirit, becoming a Karuna Reiki Master
